Transferring ownership

Transferring ownership assigns ownership of a document back to the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise share from which it came. This is similar to retracting a document as described in Retracting a document except that the action is initiated by a SharePoint user instead of by a Meridian Enterprise user.

Note    This feature must be configured for the SharePoint site by a system administrator before it can be used.

To transfer ownership:

1. In SharePoint, on the document menu for the document for which you want to transfer ownership, select Transfer Ownership. The document's ownership is transferred.
